1986 BMW R80rt Fully Customized

Meet BLANKE KNOCKEN!! This is a 1986 BMW R80rt that was purchased from a friend of mine and this was his first bike. i ditched almost everything except the frame, drivetrain, wheels and brakes. I fabricated the seat perch that holds a Biltwell pan wrapped in custom leather work and impregnated with a custom air bladder.The front shield is from Buell that I extended and created bezels for the headlight setup.  I used an m-unit basic with m-lock ignition and motone switches.  It has Kellermann micro signals with fixed rear running light, led license plate light and an old Griffin light for a separate brake light.  YSS rear custom shock and custom hand made rear wheel hub cap.  I made lots of custom pieces such as the kickstand, rear brake pull and mirror arm are twisted steel.  I made gussets and decorative frame pieces as well.  Custom made license plate mount and I relocated the factory foot mounts to accommodate the rear sets.  I did all the work except for the paint job, the polishing and the seat.  I ditched the air box and went with the pods, also went with an older choke setup.  Using a bsa throttle with Vans grips to match the paint.  I could go on and on but you get the idea.
